Description

This is the original, timeless “Country Sourdough” —it’s 80% organic white bread flour and 20% organic whole wheat bread flour.  The starter we used is a stiff organic white bread flour starter, fed at a 1 : 1 : ½ ratio.

It’s spongey, airy, and soft.  Even though it is a sourdough loaf, it does not taste sour at all (this is due to the starter we used).

Because of this, you can use this bread for many different types of sweet and savory dishes.  It is also great with just butter.

The crust is crispy and chewy, but not hard.  It’s great to dip into olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

This loaf is enough to feed a family of 4 in one sitting!
