Sourdough Bread Recipe: Sourdough Pizza

Ingredients
Scale
Sourdough Pizza Crust
300g water
50g sourdough starter (active, at peak)
10g salt
2g sugar
500g bread flour
Tomato Sauce
10g olive oil
6 oz tomato paste
15 oz tomato sauce
1–2 Tbsp dried oregano to taste
2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
Cheese
1–2 packages of shredded mozarella, OR
2–3 logs of slightly dried out fresh mozarella logs
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ Tbsp garlic salt
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Mix everything together, olive oil last.
- Knead into a log and divide into thirds
- Shape each third into a ball
- Set aside in a covered container
- Proof at room temp for 8-12hrs OR 12-24hrs in the fridge
- After proofing, stretch into a pizza shape (use ample amount of flour to help you —the dough needs to be shaped with flour to get it to its super elastic round shape),
- Put sauce your pizza and bake.

Notes
For reference, I really like NY style pizza, so really thin like you see in the picture —and I bake mine at 500f for 5-10 min, no more than that
